Grass fed beef! It has been proven as of late that everyone should eat grass fed beef. One of the best Grass fed beef benefits is that it does not have any chemicals in it. It also does not have a lot of fat in it so it is better for the body. Therefore it is better for your health. So what is the difference between grasses fed beef and other cattle?

There are farmers out there today that are raising grass fed beef. They allow their beef cattle to graze on natural fields. This means these fields are not sprayed with any kind of pesticide. Every few days these cattle will be moved to another field. This continues until the cattle reach the right height for slaughter. Other beef is fed grass that has been sprayed with pesticides. After so long they are then moved to a cow lot. They are side by side with a bench of other cows and are fed corn and soy that has been sprayed with pesticides. When they are fattened up, they are then slaughtered. Now which of these sounds more appetizing to you?

There are a lot of grass fed beef recipes for you to choose from. Yes, you do need special recipes for organic beef. Organic beef does not contain fat like other beef has. So naturally you will have to add moisturizers to the beef. These are usually things like onions and such. Grass fed beef recipes also call for less cooking time then other beef recipes. Grass fed beef cooks 30% faster then other beef. Also grass fed beef should never be overcooked. It needs to be cooked to a medium to a medium rare consistency.

When making grass fed beef hamburgers make sure you cook them with products like caramelized onions, olives or peppers. This will add moisture to your hamburgers. Again, do not over cook them. Medium to medium rare is all they need. They will cook fast also. Make sure you watch them or you will end up with a dry, tasteless hamburger.

Cooking with grass fed beef is no more of a challenge then with any other meats if you follow these few steps that we have told you. Eat grass fed beef and you will be a lot healthier.
